Our client requires an experienced welder to join their team in the Burnie area. You need to be confident in the operation of welding equipment and you will be required to take a welding capability test to assess your level of skill. Qualifications are advantageous but not essential. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines within a team environment. For the right applicant this will be a full time casual position with the opportunity of overtime. Your start will be immediate and a license and your own transport is required to get to site.

-Great research opportunity -Innovative Tasmanian Research Institute -Level C, D or E The Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research (TIAR) is a joint venture between the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the Tasmanian Department of Primary Industries and Water (DPIW). Based in Burnie, TIAR was created in 1996 to conduct research into dairy production but has recently been expanded to include industry development and extension responsibilities. The Dairy centre Research leader has been created within TIAR to take this new role forward. This position will be based in Tashkent and would commence in the Fall of 2008. The Country Project Director will report directly to the Executive Director based in Washington, D.C. Primary duties will be to guide the implementation of programs and to supervise and manage international and national staff and consultants. The ideal candidate will have direct experience on issues such as human rights, access to justice, prison monitoring, judicial reform and criminal justice reform. Applicants must have an advanced degree (a J.D. preferred), at least seven years of relevant experience and strong experience with personnel and financial management. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience managing US Government donor-funded international human rights and legal reform programs.
